Wedding Card
Hello blog world, long time since I have posted. I just don't have the time I need to make anything and then post pictures, mostly make something. This weekend my husband and I attended a wedding. And in true Trina form, I was making my card at the last minute. But this time, I did not take 3 hours to attempt to make a card and then dislike the final out come. I did have to do some research on what style of card I wanted to represent us. I love witty cards but I decided to go with a more sentimental design and found some great sentiments from this website. . I am truly happy with my finished product, I know it is simple design but I like it. An added bonus I finally used my My Pink Stamper stamps. A big Thank you to Renee from I came I saw I created. Renee makes some beautiful crafts.

The beginning of craft shows started this past weekend and I was out at 2 local shows, but not by myself. This time I had my mini me, and that made it quite expensive. Kiki my 4 y/o had a blast, she stopped at all the tables that had hair accessories and found at least one item sometimes more. There were some much better than usual deals to be found in the hair accessories. Hope you had some fun last weekend.

Cricut experience and giveaway
Blessed Sunday to all,
I am writing this post because a very generous lady, Erica from My Cricut Craft Room is giving away one lucky winner a Sophie Cartridge (Cricut Circle exclusive) when you share your experience on how you got into your Cricut.
So here is my story in short.
I decided on the cricut when I wanted to
get vinyl words for my wall and figured it would be cheaper and I could make
what ever I wanted to if I bought the Cricut. 2 years later, 40+carts, and I still
haven't even cut vinyl. But, a whole new world opened up to me, crafting. I am
utterly unimagainative and enjoy looking at others and am in awe of how they
make such amazing things.
So join in the fun and come share How you got into Cricut at My Cricut Craft Room.

St. Patrick's Day Subway Art
I am so excited I have finally learned how to do some subway art. What is most amazing for me is that I was able to make the decisions on what font, what color and where to place the words in one day. I know that might not seem like much of a feat, but for me I feel like I just ran my first half marathon. I am so excited to share with you my version of St. Patrick Subway Art. I know the words I chose will not be for many, but I like to have some of the true meaning displayed during holidays. I am hoping that some will see mine and wonder what the words have to do with St. Patrick's and a learning experience can happen. I am posting today and hopefully will figure out how to share. I do believe you can click on the image and click save, it will be a jpg. When it opened and I clicked print I chose 8x10 and it fit on page correctly. Let me know if you use the image I would like to see how you would display it and if the image does/doesn't work.
I would like to thank the ladies at Someday Crafts for sharing their tutorial on making subway art, with pictures and text for explanation. This tutorial helped me.

Treat Bag
Once I had the children's Valentine's bag together I needed to get the teachers gift together. I bought plastic champagne glasses and filled with Dove Dark Chocolate Hearts and wanted to attach a bottle of Bath and Body Works Hand soap to the cup. Disastrous is all I can say. But on my search on how to gift the items I found a tutorial on how to fold a treat bag, and no scissors needed. It was quick and easy, four minutes easy. I would post pics of me making my bag but it takes forever for me to get the pics onto my computer, so if you want to see how she does it stop by Cosmo Cricket

Valentine Mantel
I am so excited. Not only did I finish decorating my mantel before February, I am actually posting this the first day of Feb. I know some bloggers are already onto St. Patricks day but I have to move at my pace. I am so happy to be sharing this with everyone. Also, I do not know all the proper blogger etiquette for linking to someones blog, but I want to share with your where I downloaded my printables.

Okay, this is the only pic I could find of my old wall and fireplace. And this is from Christmas 2010.
Here are some pics of the painting in progress
The top color is the old color. I was so happy to get new paint on that wall. In the picture the old color looks a lot like the new color really looks. The old paint had a purple/brown color to it. There are still some touch-ups that we need to finish, but with our schedule it took us two weeks to paint due to schedules that seem to not allow anyone in the house for more than 2 hours at a time.
Here is the finished fireplace, fireplace wall and and right side wall, we did eventually paint the left wall. My 4 year old loves taking pictures, and wanted to take my pic in front of the fireplace.
